US Route 1A

Beginning at the junction of present US 1 and newly constructed facility by-passing Wakefield to the south, thence northeasterly and easterly over former US 1 through Wakefield to Narragansett Pier, thence northerly with former US 1 via Saunderstown, Hamilton and Wickford to junction of present US 1 and farmer US 1A northwest of Wickford.

Establishment of an Alternate US Route
DENIED

For the reason that the routing is indirect and that there is no indication of a need for the establishment of an alternate route under the Purpose and Policy dated August 1, 1962.

Beginning at the junction of present US 1 and State Route 3 in Westerly, thence southerly over SR 3 to Avondale, thence easterly on state route designated as Shore Road to junction with US 1 in Haversham.

PENNSYLVANIA

Beginning on US 15 between Dillsburg and Clear Springs at the junction of a recently completed high-type facility, thence southerly on new location to a junction with present US 15 northeast of York Springs.

US Route 15

Beginning on US 15 at the junction of State Route 394 northeast of Gettysburg, thence southeast on SR 394 to a junction with a recently constructed high-type: facility, thence. southerly over the new facility by-passing Gettysburg to the east to a junction with present US 15 about two miles north of Pennsylvania-Maryland State line at which point there is an interchange for a temporary ending of the new routing until such a time as the section in Maryland is completed to connect with the Pennsylvania relocation.

Beginning at the interchange of present US 19 and Intrastate Route 70S northeast of Washington, thence southeasterly along I-70S to an interchange just west of Vance, thence southerly on new location crossing US 40 to a junction with present US 19 southeast of Laboratory.
