Beginning at the Texas-Oklahoma State line on State Route 26, thence southerly over SR 26 via De Kalb, Omaha, Daingerfield, Lone Star, Longview, Kilgore, Henderson and Mount Enterprise to junction with US 59 approximately five miles north of Nacogdoches.

US Routes 50-99 BR
Recognition of a Business Route
RATIFIED

FOR RATIFICATION

Beginning at the interchange (Stockton Boulevard Overcrossing) between the new Sacramento Expressway and old US Routes 50-99 (State Route 4) south of Sacramento, thence over former US 50-99 to interchange in Sacramento at or near the intersection of Broadway and 29th and 30th Streets.

Interstate Route 44
Request for redesignation to Interstate 66
DENIED

It was the action of the Executive Committee after a report by the Route Numbering Subcommittee, that the numerology of the Interstate System, as presently adopted and approved, not be altered.

The Missouri State Highway Commission has requested that Interstate Route 44 in Missouri be redesignated as Interstate Route 66. Discussion of General Principle involved, States of Illinois, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California also would be affected.
