U. S. 75
Relocation
Beginning at junction of present U. S. Route 75 and newly constructed highway in Preston, thence north over the new highway to U. S. Route 169 at Glenpool, thence north over U. S. Route 169 to junction with present U.S. Route 75 in southwest edge of Tulsa.
" U. S. 75 Alternate
Establishment of
an Alternate Route
Beginning in Preston at junction with now U. S. Route 75, thence east and north over former U. S. Route 75 via Beggs, Mounds, Kiefer, Sapulpa and Bowden to junction with new U. S. Route 75 and U. S. Route 169 in southwest edge of Tulsa.
REJECTED—Violates the concept of the U. S. Numbered System, by which the best and shortest route available is marked for the convenience of the traveling public and there is no indication an "Alternate Route" is needed to avoid overloading the major route.
