Fellow and Tutor of Trinity College since 1902; Professor of Ancient History and Classical Archaeology in the University of Dublin since 1905; Commissioner of Education in Ireland since 1915: Irish Barr, 1905; from time to time External Examiner in Classics to the Universities of Glasgow, Edinburgh, and London; b. 30th Dec, 1870; third son of John Goligher, J.P., of Londonderry. Pubns.: Contributions to Kottabos, Hermathena, Classical Review, English Historical Review, etc.; various addresses in Proceedings of the Classical Association of Ireland (President, 1920).
