For compensation of the President, including an expense allowance at the rate of $50,000 per annum as authorized by 3 U.S.C 102, $250,000. For "Compensation of the President" for the period July 1, 1976, through September 30, 1976, $62,500. COUNCIL OF ECONOMIC ADVISERS SALARIES AND EXPENSES

For necessary expenses of the Council in carrying out its functions under the Employment Act of 1946 (15 U.S.C. 1021), $1,600,000. For "Salaries and expenses" for the period July 1, 1976, through September 30, 1976, $400,000. COUNCIL ON INTERNATIONAL ECONOMIC POLICY SALARIES AND EXPENSES

For necessary expenses of the Council on International Economic Policy, including hire of passenger motor vehicle, $1,650,000 of which, an amount not to exceed $1,000 may be expended for official entertainment. For "Salaries and expenses" for the period July 1, 1976, through September 30, 1976, $412,000 of which, an amount not to exceed $250 may be expended for official entertainment. For expenses, including compensation for the Deputy Director at a rate not to exceed the rate for level V of the Executive Schedule, 5 USC 5316. necessary for the Council on Wage and Price Stability as authorized by the Council on Wage and Price Stability Act of 1974 (Public Law 93-387) $1,550,000. 12 USC 1904 DOMESTIC COUNCIL note. SALARIES AND EXPENSES

For necessary expenses of the Domestic Council, including services as authorized by 5 U.S.C. 3109, but at rates for individuals not to exceed the per diem equivalent of the rate for grade GS-18; and other 5 USC 5332 note, personal services without regard to the provisions of law regulating the employment and compensation of persons in the Government service; $1,310,000. For "Salaries and expenses" for the period July 1, 1976, through September 30, 1976, $327,000. UNANTICIPATED NEEDS

For expenses necessary to enable the President to meet unanticipated needs, in furtherance of the national interest, security, or defense which may arise at home or abroad during the current fiscal year, and to pay administrative expenses (including personnel, in his discretion
