SEc. 2 . The Secretary of the Navy shall require, as a condition precedent to the conveyance herein authorized, payment by the grantee to the United States of a sum equal to the current market value of the easement herein authorized to be conveyed. The grantee shall bear the expense of relocating fencing, gates, and power poles now located on the land. Approved March 7, 1947. [CHAPTER 14] AN ACT To authorize the payment of $425.88 by the United States to the Government of Switzerland. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury is authorized to pay to the proper representatives of the Government of Switzerland, out of any money not otherwise appropriated, the sum of $425.88, in full settlement of all claims against the United States for the loss of food and other items stored aboard the Japanese vessel Awa Maru, when that vessel was sunk in western Pacific waters. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That paragraph (6) of the first section of the Federal Firearms Act of June 30, 1938 (52 Stat. 1250; U. S . C., title 15, sec. 901 (6)), be, and the same is hereby, amended to read as follows: "(6) The term 'crime of violence' means murder, manslaughter. rape, mayhem, kidnaping, robbery, burglary, housebreaking; assault with intent to kill, commit rape, or rob; assault with a dangerous weapon, or assault with intent to commit any offense punishable by imprisonment for more than one year." Approved March 10, 1947. [CHAPTER 16] AN ACT To amend the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act of June 25, 1938, as amended, by providing for the certification of batches of drugs composed wholly or partly of any kind of streptomycin, or any derivative thereof, and for other purposes. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That section 301 (j) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act of June 25, 1938, as amended (U. S . C., 1940 edition, title 21, ch. 9), is amended by inserting "506, 507," after "section 404, 505,". SEC. 2 .
