No a ddition al pay for during the fiscal year ending June 30, 1937, no officer of the Army furnishing mounts or shall be entitled to receive an addition to his pay in consequence of service . 35. No payment shall be made from money appropriated in this Act to retired forbidden sell ing any officer on the retired list of the Army who, for himself or for supplies to Armre. others, is engaged in the selling of, contracting for the sale of, or negotiating for the sale of, to the Army or the War Department, any war materials or supplies . TRAVEL OF THE ARMY For travel allowances and travel in kind, as authorized by law, for Travel allowances, persons traveling in connection with the military and nonmilitary etc . activities of the War Department, including mileage, transportation, reimbursement of actual expenses, or per diem allowances, to officers and contract surgeons ; transportation of troops ; transportation, or reimbursement therefor, of nurses, enlisted men, recruits, recruiting Recruiting expenses. parties , applicants for enl istment between recr uiting stations and recruiting depots, rejected applicants for enlistment, general pris- oners, cadets and accepted cadets from their ho mes to the Military A cadem y, di schar ged c adets , civ ilian empl oyees , civ ilian witn esses before courts martial, dependents of military personnel, and attend- ants accompanying remains of military personnel and civilian em- ployees ; travel pay to discharged military personnel ; transportation of discharged prisoners and persons discharged from Saint Eliza- beths Hospital after transfer thereto from the military service, to their homes, or elsewhere as they may elect, the cost in each case not to be greater than to the place of last enlistment ; hot coffee for tro ops traveling when s upplied with cooked or travel rations ; co m- commu tation of mutation of quarters and rations to enlisted men traveling on quarters, rations, etc. detached duty when it is impracticable to carry rations, and to appli- cants for enlistment and general prisoners traveling under orders ; per diem allowances or actual cost of subsistence while in a travel s tatus, to nurs es, ci vilian employe es, ci vilian witness es bef ore cou rts civilians . mar tial, and attendants accompanying remain s of military person nel and civilian employees, $3,103,527, which may be increased, subject fe Increases, . bre trans. to the approval of the Director of the Bureau of the Budget, by trans- fers from other appropriations contained in this Act of such amounts as may be required in addition to those herein provided for travel in conne ction with deve lopme nt, p rocur ement , pro ducti on, m ainte nance , or construction activities ; and, with such exception, no other appro- Res triction. p riation in thi s Act shall b e avail able f or any expense for o r incid ent to travel of personnel of the Regular Army or civilian employees under the War Department, except the appropriation "Contingencies of the Army" and the appropriations for the National Guard, the
