YVHEREAS, the President of the United States, under an Act of §;•g‘,f,§{g°· Congress approved March 2, 1917, entitled, "An Act To provide a Vol-39,pY954· civil government for Porto Rico, and for other purposes," is authorized to conve to the peogle of Porto Rico from time to time, in his discretion, such, lands, buil `ngs, or interests in lands or other roperty now owned by the United States and within the territorial limits of Porto Rico as in his opinion are no longer needed for purposes of the United States; and WHEREAS, certain lands in Porto Rico heretofore set aside for military purposes by Executive Order of June 30, 1903, are no longer needed for the purioses of the United States; and WHEREAS, suc lands are desired by the Government of Porto Rico to be used for school purposes and may be advantageously used for such pur oses by the peop e of Porto Rico; NOW, TIFEREFORE, I, WARREN G. HARDING, President of mI;g$gfmf,” ;§§“§,‘§.{}g the United States, bly virtue of the authority in me vested, do hereby Rico for school purproclaim and make nown that the following described lands, known P°S°°’ as A adilla Barracks and Fort, are hereby transferred and conveyed to TE; People of Porto Rico: All that ieee or parcel of land in the northerly part of the town of Aguadilllii, Porto Rico, where the fort and barracks now stand, bounded and described as follows: Beginninor at a point in the westerly side of Fort Street at the D•¤°*'lv°*°¤· northeasterliy corner of the wooden building lust south of said barracks, said point being S. 60° 50' E. 59.0 feet rom the southeasterly corner of said barracks building, and running thence along the westerly side of Fort Street N. 14° 22' W. 305.0 feet; thence S. 67° 30' W. 300 feet to the sea; thence along the sea S. 32° 40’ E. 328.8 feet; thence N. 61° 10’ E. 200 feet to the oint or place of beginning; together with the land under water in iiriont of said parcel o land to deep water.
