Be it enacted by the_Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America an Congress assembled, That the Secretary {;§I*};§0f¤”*dg¤· of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place ` on the pension-roll the name of Lydia Burridge, mother of Edwin Burridge, late of Company E. Third New York Light Artillery, and pay her a pension, su ject to the provisions and limitations of the general pension laws. Received by the President June 12, 1888. [NorE BY THE DEPARTMENT or STArE.—The foregoing act having been presented to the President of the United States for his approval, and not having been returned by him to the house of Congress in which it originated within the time prescribed by the Constitution of the United States, has become a law without his approval.] CHAP. 485.-An act granting a pension to J essie M. Barthauer.
