(C) FISCAL YEAR 1999.—Section 3135 of the Strom Thurmond National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1999 (Public Law 105–261; 112 Stat. 2248), is— (i) transferred to title XLIV of the Bob Stump National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2003, as amended by this subsection; (ii) redesignated as section 4453B; and (iii) inserted after section 4453A, as added by subparagraph (B). (D) FISCAL YEAR 1998.—Subsection (b) of section 3136 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1998 (Public Law 105–85; 111 Stat. 2038), is— (i) transferred to title XLIV of the Bob Stump National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2003, as amended by this subsection; (ii) inserted after section 4453B, as added by subparagraph (C); and (iii) amended— (I) by inserting before the text the following new section heading:

(E) FISCAL YEAR 1997.—Subsection (f) of section 3142 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1997 (Public Law 104–201; 110 Stat. 2836), is— (i) transferred to title XLIV of the Bob Stump National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2003, as amended by this subsection; (ii) inserted after section 4453C, as added by subparagraph (D); and (iii) amended— (I) by inserting before the text the following new section heading:
