Ceremonial Cooking of Taro
The dumplings on platters (left) are first prepared by women and then thrown into large clay pots and stirred with long spatulæ. Note the miniature yam house (left centre) belonging to the small boy in front of it. We are looking from between dwellings across the store-houses towards the central place.
