The print that follows records a scene from the finale of this production, which bore the separate title of Yoshitsune Senbon-Zakura, or Yoshitsune of the Thousand Cherry-trees. The action had to do with the journey of the beautiful dancing girl Shizuka, to Yoshino—a place famous for its cherries—in order to join there her banished lover, the hero of romance and famous general, Yoshitsune.
