PSYCHE
Dear little Psyche, pray what do you see
In that clear pool, looking back unto thee?
Fairies? Gay Princes? and Kings without care?
Trooping by millions to view one so fair?
Sweet little Cupids, with bows in mid-air,
Flashing their arrows at your waving hair?
Old men, and women, and small children, too?
Gaping, all open-mouthed, gazing at you?
