Axiochus.

Axiochus.

Minding to haue ſaid ſomething vnto thee (O Socrates) I am impeached with baſhfull ſhame: For ſo farre am I now from the horror and dread of death, that I continually couet the time thereof: So hath thy heauenly and comfortable ſpeeches pierced and recieued my faint heart. And nowe loath I this life, and ſcorne the delights thereof, as that ſhall from henceforth paſſe into a better abode. And now by my ſelfe alone will I recount theſe thy notable ſayings, but I pray thee (O Socrates) after noone reſort to me againe.

Socrates.

I will doo as you ſay, and now will I returne to walk in my ſchool Lynoſargus from whence I was hither called.
