(Georgia Section) Beginning at the northern terminus of US 319 in Wadley, thence north over US 1 via Wrens and Augusta to the Georgia-South Carolina State line.

Beginning at the South Carolina-Georgia State line in South Augusta on US 25 and 1 thence northerly on US 25 to State Route 19 in Trenton, thence northerly on SR 19 via Johnston, Saluda, Newberry and Whitmire to State Route 72, then northeasterly on SR 72 via Carlisle and Chester to US 21 in Rock Hill, then northerly on US 21 to the South Carolina-North Carolina State line.

Beginning at the North Carolina-South Carolina State line on US 21 southwest of Pineville, thence north over US 21 to State Route 49 in Charlotte, thence northeasterly over SR 49 via Harrisburg and Richfield to US 64 near Asheboro, thence northeasterly over US 64 to SR 49 in Ramseur, thence northerly over SR 49 via Liberty, Graham, Haw River, Carr and Roxboro to the North Carolina-Virginia State line near Virgilina.

Beginning on the Virginia-North Carolina State Line near Virgilina on State Route 49, thence northeasterly over SR 49 to US 58 west of Clarksville.
