This request is to eliminate the portion of U. S. 127 now marked over U. S. 27 in Lansing between Grand River Avenue on the north and Main Street on the south (Junction with U. S. 27).

This routing will be over reconstructed State Route 103 from White Pigeon to the Indiana State line and will provide a higher type highway connection to the Indiana Turnpike via Indiana State Route 13.

This routing for through traffic would be over a newly constructed high type facility through a sparsely settled section of LaGrange running west on Commerce Avenue from the intersection at Youngs Mill Road and Hogansville Road to Franklin Street (U.S. 27) thence south over U. S. 27 to intersection with present U. S. 29 at Ridley and Broad Streets.

Beginning at the interchange with U. 3. 34 south of the city thence west to Illinois State Route 47, thence north to the interchange connecting present U. S. 30 and the East-West Tollway at Sugar Grove.
