Ffoulkes, William Wynne, M.A., Jesus Coll., Oxon, 1847, scholar 1843, B.A. 1844, judge of county courts (circuit No. 7) since 1875, J. P. Chester and Cheshire, a revising barrister 1868, 1872-4, commissioner of escheat Cheshire and North Wales, educated at Shrewsbury School, a student of Lincoln's Inn 2 Nov., 1844 (then aged 23), called to the bar 23 Nov., 1847 (4th son of John Powel Ffoulkes, Esq., late of Eriviat Hall, co. Denbigh, dec); born 14 July, 1821 ; married 1st, 7 Sept., 1854, Elizabeth Benedicta, 6th dau. of late Rev. Richard Howard, D.D., canon of Bangor; she died 28 March, 1855; he married 2ndly, 13 Sept., 1859, Hester Mary, 3rd dau. of Rev. George Heywood, rector of Ideford, Devon.
