Calvert, Frederick, Q.C., F.R.G.S., M.A. (late fellow) of Merton Coll. 1831, B.A., Christ Church, Oxon, 1827, M.P. Aylesbury Dec., 1850, unseated April, 1851, J.P., D.L. Bucks, author of Law respecting Parties to Suits in Equity, a student of Lincoln's Inn 28 June, 1827, went to the Inner Temple 8 and called to the bar there 28 Jan., 1831 (Q.C. 23 Feb., 1849), bencher 27 April, 1849, treasurer 1869 (2nd son of Gen. Sir Harry Calvert, Bart., of Chelsea, dec.); born 9 June, 1806; married 14 Sept., 1865, Lady Lucy Caroline Herbert, dau. of Edward, 2nd earl of Powys, K.G. (see Foster's Peerage and Baronetage, Verney).
