Tone
[edit]Having now read through the first hundred-odd pages (getting the 'pointing' consistent, mostly.... uses of templates for æ, Æ, œ, and — were inconsistent, and well as mis-scanned commas) of this book, I just feel like noting that this is full of little racist "rants" about the superiority of "Europeans" over "Asiatics." Buyer beware, lol.
- Not "explicit" racism, to be clear, he just makes it really obvious that he thinks that "Europeans" and their "culture" are superior, and the source of all real "civilization" in the world. If Xerxes had conquered Europe we would all still be barbarians, according to this guy, and he goes off-topic on the subject repeatedly.
