In two minds about the assignation for EB9, though otherwise the author page is correct as

  1. D. H. McAdam of St Louis is what EB9 says, and there is someone who fits the bill in 1878and was not likely to then be in NY as shown to be in 1879
  2. on the other hand it seems 10th ed. says it is the judge

so who knows and let us see the articles written and reconvene

Judges David McAdam and James Clark Spencer on the List.

New York, Dec. 2--Justice David McAdam of the Supreme Court died at a private sanitarium in this city. The justice had been a sufferer from cancer of the tongue, and a few weeks ago was forced to retire from his work. An operation was decided on, and last Mondy the cancerous growth was successfully removed. The patient was thought to be in a fair way toward recovery, but suffered a relapse from which he failed to recover. David McAdam was born in this city in October, 1838,
