American mystery writer, editor, journalist and scriptwriter, best known for creating the series character Professor Craig Kennedy, sometimes called "The American Sherlock Holmes", and Kennedy's Dr. Watson-like sidekick Walter Jameson, a newspaper reporter. Pen name: Arthur B. Reeve
