Tenison, Thomas, of Clare Coll., Cambridge (LL.B. 1721, fellow Trinity Hall, LL.D. 1726); incorp. 6 June, 1729 (s. Edward, bishop of Ossory), archdeacon of Carmarthen 1729, and preb. 1739, rector of Chiddingstone, Kent, 1734, commissary-general and chancellor of the diocese of Oxford, died 7 May, 1742.
