Symmons, Charles, B.D. from Clare Hall, Cambridge, 1786, s. John, of St. Martin's, Middlesex, arm. Jesus Coll., incorp. 24 March, 1794, aged 44; D.D. 26 March, 1794 (originally of Glasgow University), poet and writer, rector of Narberth with, chapelry of Robeson, co. Pembroke, 1778, preb. of St. David's 1789, and rector of Lampeter Velfrey 1794, until his death 27 April, 1826, father of John 1799.
