Syer, Thomas, 1s. Thomas Sier, of Dewsall, co. Hereford, arm. Queen's Coll., matric. 2 June, 1841, aged 22; B.A. from St. Mary Hall 1846, M.A. from Queen's Coll. 1848, was allowed to commute M.A. for B.C.L. 5 May, 1852, D.C.L. 27 Jan., 1853, bar.-at-law, Middle Temple, 1847, vicar of Ravensden 1851-63, minister of St. James Chapel, Piccadilly, 1859-64. D.L. co. Hereford, altered the spelling of his name. See Foster's Men at the Bar.
