Sandys, Sir Edwyn Bayntun, Bart., created D.C.L. 10 June, 1812 (son of Myles Sandys, of West Alvington, Devon), of Miserden Castle, co. Gloucester, and of Chadlington Hall, Oxon, colonel Oxfordshire local militia, created a baronet 6 Sep., 1809, assumed the additional surname of Bayntun, died in March, 1848.
