Merton Coll., matric. 7 April, 1770, aged 16, B.A. 1780; M.A. from Worcester Coll. 1783, B.D. 1784, rector of St. Michael's and St Mary-de-Grace, Gloucester, 1784, vicar of Haresfield 1784, chancellor of the diocese of Hereford 1817, archdeacon of Gloucester 1814, until his death in 1825, author of 'The History of the County of Gloucester.'
