Balliol Coll., matric. 19 May, 1772, aged 19, B.A. 1776, M.A. 1778; Radcliffe travelling fellow University Coll. 1780, B.Med. & D.Med. 1783, assumed the additional surname of Barclay, Oct., 1799, fellow College of Physicians 1787, physician to St. George's Hospital 1785-1800, F.R.S. 1790, physician extraordinary to Princess of Wales 1799, died in 1827.
