Rice, Edward, s. George, of Hertford Street, St. George's, London, arm. Christ Church, matric. 16 May, 1794, aged 17, B.A. 1798; M.A. from All Souls' Coll. 1802, B. & D.D. 1820, precentor and preb. of York 1802, vicar of Sutton-in-the-Forest, York, 1804, rector of Great Barrington and of Great Rissington, co. Gloucester, 1810, preb. of Worcester 1815-25, rector of Oddington 1820, and dean of Gloucester 1825, until his death 15 Aug., 1862, brother of Lord Dinevor. See Foster's Peerage.
