Phillips, James Henry Alexander, of Trinity Coll., Cambridge (B.A. 1838, M.A. 1841); adm. 'comitatis causa' 10 June, 1863, (son of Rev. Henry Gwyther, M.A., see page 580), of Picton Castle, co. Pembroke, assumed the surname of Philipps in lieu of Gwyther, vicar of Madeley, Salop, 1841-59, and of St. Mary, Haverfordwest, 1859, until his death 3 Dec., 1875. See Foster's Baronetage.
