Middleton, Erasmus, s. Erasmus, of Horncastle, co. Lincoln, pleb. St. Edmund Hall, matric. 4 June, 1767, aged 28; 'one of the six young men expelled the University,' a Methodist clergyman, rector of Turvey, Beds, 1804, until his death 25 April, 1805, editor of 'Biographia Evangelica.'
