Maddison, Frederick Brunning, s. Frederick Patey Chappell, of London, arm. Brasenose Coll., matric. 20 May, 1869, aged 19; scholar 1869-73, B.A. 1874, dropped his patronymic and assumed in lieu thereof the names of Brunning Maddison, and was called to the bar at Lincoln's Inn 28 June, 1876, disbarred at his own request in Oct., 1884, in order to become a solicitor.
