Lyttelton, William Henry, s. Thomas, of London, baronet. St. Mary Hall, matric. 22 June, 1742, aged 17; created D.C.L. 23 Nov., 1781, 7th baronet, created Baron Westcote 29 July, 1776, and Baron Lyttelton 13 Aug., 1794, bar.-at-law, Middle Temple 1748, M.P. Bewdley 1748 to Feb., 1755, governor of South Carolina 1755-60, of Jamaica 1760-6, envoy to King of Portugal 1766-71, died 24 Sep., 1808. See Foster's Peerage.
