Langton, Bennet, s. Bennet, of Langton, co. Lincoln, arm. Trinity Coll., matric. 7 July, 1757, aged 20; created M.A. 23 March, 1765, and D.C.L. 16 June, 1790, of Langton, captain Lincolnshire militia, Dr. Johnson's friend, died in 1801, father of George, 1790.
