Cornewall, (Sir) George, (Bart.), s. George Amyand, of St. Laurence Pountney, London, baronet. Christ Church, matric. 5 April, 1766, aged 17; created M.A. 14 March, 1769, and D.C.L. 8 July, 1773, 2nd baronet, M.P. Herefordshire 1774-96, 1802-7, assumed the surname and arms of Cornewall 1771, in lieu of Amyand, died 26 Sep., 1819. See Foster's Baronetage.
