Lincoln Coll., matric. 10 Oct., 1768, aged 24; B.A. 1775, perpetual curate Cramlington, 1774, F.S.A. 1777, rector of St.-Mary-at-Hill and St. Mary Hubbard, London, 1784, domestic chaplain to the Duke of Northumberland, author of a history of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, secretary to Society of Antiquaries 1784, until his death 11 Sep., 1806.
