Christ Church, matric. 11 June, 1784, aged 16 (written Arthbuthnott), B.A. 1788, ambassador extraordinary at Constantinople, and a privy councillor, 1804, chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, 1828-30, created D.C.L. 11 June, 1834, M.P. Eye, Orford, St. Germains and St. Ives; died 18 Aug., 1850.
